Tom Naquin to Sponsor Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk

Do you want to get some exercise and be doing so for a great cause? If so, then you should join the Tom Naquin team in a local walk to help raise money for the American Cancer Society. Tom Naquin is a proud sponsor of the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk.

The walk is set to take place on Saturday, October 26th at Howard Park in South Bend, Indiana. Registration will take place at 8 A.M. and the walk will start at 9:30 A.M.

Chevrolet Cars and Charities

Together, five Chevrolet high-performance vehicles raised $2.14 million to benefit various Detroit charities this past weekend at the Barrett-Jackson Collector Car Auction in Scottsdale Arizona.

The First Production All-New 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 with a Vehicle Identification Number that ends in 0001 was sold to businessman, avid Corvette collector, and NASCAR team owner, Rick Hendrick. Proceeds will benefit the College for Creative Studies in Detroit.


The 2012 Chevrolet COPO Camaro Convertible is the last one built and the only one painted Inferno Orange Metallic. Its bid goes to the American Heart Association.


The 2013 Chevrolet Corvette 427 Convertible Collector Edition is custom designed by Guy Fieri. Appropriately, proceeds will be forwarded to his Cooking with Kids program.


The 1958 Chevrolet Regal Turquoise Corvette was once owned by the Chairman and CEO of GM Dan Akerson. Its bid will be donated to the Detroit Habitat for Humanity.


The 2013 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 Convertible is the first Convertible to come off of the assembly line. One-hundred percent of the profit will be forwarded to the Achilles Freedom Team of Wounded Veterans.





*Bonus – An Autographed Press Kit for the 2014 Chevrolet Corvette Stingray C7 was sold to the Chamber of Commerce of Bowling Green Kentucky in which the Corvette was born. Its $4,300 donation will be forwarded to the American Cancer Society.
