The Best Superhero Movies Ever Created

Best Superhero Movies

We here at Tom Naquin Chevrolet have assembled a list of what we consider to be the best superhero movies that were ever created!

Elkhart, Indiana is a town that is full of attractions for residents and guests to visit. One of the more unusual, but popular, of those attractions is the Hall of Heroes, a museum dedicated to superheroes. Speaking of superheroes, each year more and more superhero movies seem to come out. But which ones are our favorites? We have assembled a list of what we consider to be the best superhero movies ever created!

Superman

When we first saw this classic in 1978, we truly believed that a man could fly! Since then, Christopher Reeve’s performance as the Man of Steel has become the stuff of legend, as Superman practically kick started the Superhero movie genre!

Iron Man

The Marvel Cinematic Universe is currently one of the most successful film franchises ever created. That franchise all started with 2008’s Iron Man. At the time, many were unsure of how successful Iron Man would be. Two sequels and a host of Avengers movies soon answered that question!

The Dark Knight

Batman has had his share of ups and downs when it has come to the big screen. However, none of his movies can outshine The Dark Knight. In it, not only does the Caped Crusader struggle against the maniacal efforts of the Joker, but also struggles to find a Gotham City that no longer needs the Batman.

The Chevrolet Silverado’s Steel Bed Proves to be More Durable than Ford’s Aluminum Bed

Chevrolet Silverado's Steel Bed

According to a Chevrolet press release, the Chevrolet Silverado’s steel bed proved to be more durable than Ford’s aluminum bed.

There’s been a lot of talk around town recently about the new aluminum body structure of the Ford F-150. Ford has not been shy about sharing details about this new design. However, it may surprise drivers to learn that Ford’s aluminum body may not be all it’s cracked up to be.

According to a Chevrolet press release, the Chevrolet Silverado’s steel bed proved to be more durable than Ford’s aluminum bed.

When put to the test, the high-strength steel bed of the 2016 Chevrolet Silverado withstood 90 joules of impact energy without showing any signs of damage. When the Ford F-150 and its aluminum bed underwent the test, it cracked after only experiencing 40 joules of energy!

“Obviously, any material can be pushed to the breaking point if you subject it to enough impact energy,” said Sandor Piszar, Chevrolet truck marketing director. “If a customer does manage to puncture the high-strength steel bed of the Silverado, they have the added peace of mind knowing steel tends to be easier to repair than aluminum — potentially saving money and minimizing time without their truck.”

Other brands can claim to have the toughest truck in the industry. However, there is only one truck that is truly the toughest: the Chevy Silverado!
