Mountain Movers Choose Chevrolet

Ever wonder how the venues of action sport competitions like the Winter Dew Tour, the Winter X Games, and the World Snowboard Championships happen?

Well, the answer is Snow Park Technologies.

With the help of Chevrolet, Snow Park Technologies has designed and built over 250 competition courses.

This spring, you will witness a documentary of the behind-the-scenes real-life drama of these builds in the new National Geographic Channel TV series, Mountain Movers.

“Snow Park Technologies works in the most remote locations under extreme conditions, exactly the type of programming NatGeo is famous for,” said award-winning television producer for Good Clean Fun Jason Carbone. “From avalanche control to building a half-pipe in blizzard conditions, Mountain Movers is going to take the viewer to locations and place them in experiences that are truly one of a kind.”

Viewers will travel with Snow Park Technologies to California, Colorado, Nevada, Utah, and even the East Coast.

Snow Park Technologies hauls the equipment and machinery necessary to move tons of snow in the harshest conditions. And, that is heavy duty work.

ESPN Winter X Games course designer and owner and president of Snow Park Technologies Chris “Gunny” Gunnarson said that his favorite part is his 2012 Chevrolet Silverado 3500HD Dually.

“I know Chevy trucks can handle the heavy duty work we do, and in the nastiest environments a mountain can offer because I use them every day,” said Gunnarson.

Local Elkhart Indiana dealership, Tom Naquin, looks forward to see the capabilities of the Chevrolet Silverado in the series this spring.

A New Chevrolet Voice

Last month, Chevrolet announced that it would “Find New Roads” with its new tag line in regard to its advertising campaign.

What we did not know was that those new roads would include a new Chevrolet voice.

That is right.

The talented chords of Tim Allen will no longer ring out over the speakers of your televisions.

His replacement?

John Cusack.

Along with several other talented pipes, the new Chevrolet voice was aired during the 55th Annual Grammy Awards on CBS Sunday evening in its first commercial.

The spot utilized the Chevrolet Corvette, Impala, Sonic, Spark, and Volt to symbolize the various new roads that will be discovered by the automaker.

The new voice closed: “With the best lineup of vehicles ever, introducing the new Chevrolet. Why just go from A to B when imagination can take you everywhere?”

Local Elkhart Indiana dealership, Tom Naquin, looks forward to the new roads that will be found.

Another Capability of the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado: Carrying Your Most Precious Cargo

It is no secret that the Chevrolet Silverado can haul the heaviest loads and handle the roughest terrains.

But, what the 2014 Chevrolet Silverado is most concerned about is your most precious cargo – your children.

Safety features include Front and Rear Park Assist and the Driver Alert Package with Lane Departure Warning and Forward Collision Alert.

Not to mention, its fully-boxed ultra-high-strength steel frame.

With its new half-inch wider wheels and hydraulic body mounts, handling is better now than ever. Its inlay doors and swept-back windshield angle quiet the ride for the interior cabin.

No peacefully sleeping baby will be disturbed by a bumpy ride or whistling wind.

Both the Crew and Extended Cab models feature larger forward-hinged rear doors in addition to more rear-seat legroom, making it easier to load the car seat and other essentials.

Why?

Because the things you carry are even heavier than the things you haul.

The all-new 2014 Chevrolet Silverado will arrive at your local Elkhart Indiana dealership, Tom Naquin, this summer.
