In the 2015 J.D. Power Dependability Study, three-year-old vehicles were evaluated for their quality as seen in the number of problems reported by owners within the previous year. We at Tom Naquin Chevrolet are proud to have three Chevy vehicles named most dependable in their segments.
The Chevrolet Malibu (model year 2012) topped the Midsize Car segment; the Silverado HD earned the highest dependability among large heavy duty trucks; and the Camaro was crowned winner in the Midsize Sporty Car segment for the third year in a row.
Each of our segment-winning vehicles reported the fewest of 177 problem symptoms in eight categories.
In addition, the Tahoe, Silverado 1500, and Suburban ranked among the top three in their segments.
“Chevrolet is committed to offering customers a complete lineup of vehicles that deliver great performance, design, and technology, and do it with great value,” said Brian Sweeney, Chevrolet’s U.S. vice president of Sales and Service. “Vehicle dependability is a large part of that value, and this prestigious award recognizes our ongoing efforts to further enhance value for our customers.”
