The Chevrolet brand is constantly looking for ways to impact the world beyond just making great vehicles, and thanks to the One World Futbol project, they’ve again succeeded at that goal. The project seeks to bring the joy of soccer (or futbol, football, or whatever you know it as) to kids all around the world. Recently, the project passed an incredible milestone, distributing over 1 million soccer balls to 30 million kids in over 60 countries around the world.
“For Chevrolet, it’s not just about what the One World Futbol is, but what the ball enables us to do,” said Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer, Global Chevrolet. “The donation of the 1 millionth ball is a tremendous milestone in our effort to help children everywhere realize that through play all things are possible.”
